We’re excited to say one of the nation’s largest public school districts, Clark County Schools in Nevada has been showing some activity on CatchTomorrow.com over the last few weeks. Our marketing director Katrina Boschenko has also been in talks with their administration regarding implementation of the CatchTomorrow search engine and possibly sending out a memo to parents and faculty to help spread the word.

With a school district of this size using CT as their daily search engine we can estimate some hefty donations going out to them in the future. We look forward to partnering with you Clark County Schools!

We’ve added a whole new look to the .ORG version of CatchTomorrow. Now you can select custom themes as the background to your home page. Just click on the Themes link at the top right corner of the page (you may have to hit F5 on the top of your keyboard to view the new design).

I feel compelled to blog about Belen Consolidated Schools, my alma mater who has been one of many schools to adopt CatchTomorrow as their home page search engine (Thanks to Patricia Benavidez).  Even during the slow months of summer school,  BCS has already generated significant amounts of traffic and searches which will indeed provide them with supplemental funding estimated to be at $2500 to $3000 when we cut checks in November.  If you’re from Belen, NM Be sure and help spread the word about www.CatchTomorrow.org and select Belen Consolidated Schools as your district search engine.  I can foresee donations exceeding $15,000 per year or more!

Plenty of changes have been made across the site, signifying our “Beta” status.   Please hit F5 on your keyboard to make sure you are taking advantage of these new features and additions.  Hitting F5 clears your PC’s cache of visited web pages and forces your computer to view the latest version of a website.

On your CatchTomorrow.com home page, click on the green “+Add” button then select “Sports” category.  There you’ll see the CBS Live Sports Scores widget that you can add to your customizable home page.  If you are really into sports I suggest creating a custom “Sports” tab and placing all of our CatchTomorrow sports widgets in that tab.

Planning a trip?  Don’t forget to use the Orbitz.com travel search widget on your Catchtomorrow.com home page.  This widget is set as a default widget on your Catchtomorrow.com home page but can also be found by clicking the green “+Add” button at the top left corner of CatchTomorrow.com home page then selecting the “Travel” Category.  When you book travel from this widget, 50% of the affiliate revenue is donated to your school district.  So don’t forget to use it!!

Looking for a job?  Search from hundreds of thousands of job listings directly from your CatchTomorrow.com home page.  The “Indeed” job search widget is an excellent resource which provides you with up-to-date job listings from all the top job sites.  Just type in a category of job in the “What’ box and the city, state in the “Where” box then click search.  The Indeed job search widget is a default widget on your CatchTomorrow.com home page and can also be found by clicking the green “+Add” button at the top left corner of your home page then clicking on the “Job Search” category.

We’ve added some great shopping widgets on Catchtomorrow.com.  Just click on the “+Add” button at the top left corner of your CatchTomorrow.com home page, then selec the “Shopping” Category.  We’ll be adding many other shopping sites soon.  Any time you buy something from one of our shopping partner sites, this revenue is added to your school districts 50% donation!

Don’t forget you can search Dictionary.com and Thesaurus.com directly from your customized CatchTomorrow.com home page.  The Dictionary widget is set as a default widget on the Catchtomorrow.com home page but can also be found in the “Add” section under the “Tools” category.

Check out the cool games that you can add to your custom Catchtomorrow.com page.  Click on the green “+Add” button at the top left corner of your CatchTomorrow.com home page the select the “Games” category.  You can add any of these to your customized page.  I suggest creating a custom “Games” tab which will hold all of your selected games.
